ÍSLENSK ÚTGÁFA
Ferðalag mitt sem listamanns hefur verið einsetuför. Sjálflærður frá fimmtán ára aldri varði ég áratug í að kanna hefðbundna miðla, en árið 2000 fann ég mitt rétta móðurmál í hinum stafræna heimi. Síðan þá hef ég eingöngu helgað mig stafrænni listsköpun.
Fyrir mér er striginn spegill undirmeðvitundarinnar. Hann er vettvangur þar sem innri átök, goðsagnir og frumgerðir öðlast sýnilega mynd. Íslenskur uppruni minn er óhjákvæmilega ofinn inn í verkin; landslag gegnsýrt af myrkri, þjóðsögum og þrá eftir ljósi í stöðugu skammdegi. Verkin eru oft óreiðukennd en þó skipulögð, og endurspegla þann eilífa dans milli reglu og glundroða sem skilgreinir tilveru okkar.
Verk mín eru ögrun við þá hugmynd að stafræn list sé hverful eða yfirborðskennd. Með því að helga mig þessum miðli fullkomlega, leitast ég við að skapa verk sem búa yfir dýpt, varanleika og ósvikinni sál. Hvert verk er gluggi að innri heimi – bæði mínum og vonandi áhorfandans.

My path as an artist has been a solitary one. As an autodidact from the age of fifteen, I spent a decade exploring traditional media, but in the year 2000, I found my native language in the digital realm. Since then, my practice has been exclusively dedicated to digital creation.
For me, the canvas is a mirror to the subconscious—a space where internal conflicts, myths, and archetypes are given visible form. My Icelandic origins are inevitably woven into my work; it is a landscape steeped in darkness, folklore, and the yearning for light in a world of perpetual twilight. The compositions are often chaotic yet ordered, reflecting the eternal dance between chaos and structure that defines our existence.
My work is an act of defiance against the notion that digital art is fleeting or superficial. Through total dedication to this medium, I strive to create works of depth, permanence, and undeniable soul. Each piece is a window into an inner world—both my own, and hopefully, that of the viewer.
